2025-2026 SEASON TRYOUTS

Parents, looking for a soccer team?

Starting about mid-May, you can use the above search tool to find teams in your child’s birth year.  While players may play up in a division, players are not allowed to play down.  Teams in U9 and older age divisions may hold tryouts in accordance with KSYSA rule 3.13.

Check the tryout listing before you head out the door.  Listings may have changed since the initial posting.  If you have questions on a specific tryout, contact the team/club directly to the phone number listed.

Players, U8 and younger, are considered recreational and are not subject to tryouts.  Teams or clubs may list their contact information on our Teams Looking for Players Listing.  The U5-U8 team listing can also be found on the PARENTS page of this website.

When are Tryouts for 2025-2026 Held?

TEAMS/CLUBS:  CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR TRYOUT LISTING.

A fee to post the tryouts will no longer be charged by WRSA.  Each team must submit a tryout individually on the WRSA online tryout form.  All changes to entries must be submitted with a new tryout form.  The original tryout form will be deleted.  WRSA office is not responsible for changes to tryouts sent via email or by phone.

SIGNING DAY
SIGNING PLAYERS WITH OR WITHOUT TRYOUT
❖ Players can re-sign with their current club team from the 2024-25 seasonal year beginning April 1, 2025, and may place a deposit securing their spot with their current club team without going through the tryout process.
❖ Players who have attended an “ID Event” can sign with a club starting at 12:01AM on May 27th, 2025 without participation in a physical tryout to a new team (as long as the club has followed the proper advertising and registration requirements).

Players shall have 72 hours from the time of their commitment to a team to
rescind their commitment without penalty, financial or otherwise. Players who
rescind will receive a full refund of their deposit if done within 72 hours.
